Before You Apply

The University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy accepts approximately 140 students each year to the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program. Admission to this professional program is competitive and is based on 10 admission selection criteria.

A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (or 3.2 over the past 60 credits) is required to apply. Before entry into the PharmD program, satisfactory completion of all pre-pharmacy (prerequisite) coursework is required. Prerequisite coursework may be completed in the summer before entry into the School of Pharmacy.
