GRANTS

Principal Investigator- Improving pharmacist communication about opioids

Funded by Community Pharmacy Foundation (September 2019- May 2020)

This grant recognizes the need expressed by pharmacists about resources like handouts to aid opioid risks and safety communication. This grant seeks to design and revise an opioid safety handout and test its feasibility and acceptability of use among community pharmacists. This is achieved using state-wide interviews and surveys as well as through actual patient-pharmacist consults

Principal investigator- Factors affecting pharmacists’ opioid risk and safety communication risks

Funded by Sonderreger Research Center, UW- Madison (August 2019- July 2020)

This grant supports my PhD dissertation study which seeks to understand and categorize factors affecting pharmacists’ opioid risk and safety communication practices.
